The Role of a Civil Funeral Celebrant
As a qualified civil funeral celebrant, I will help you to create a funeral ceremony that is tailored to your specific needs.
We will meet to discuss all aspects of the ceremony to ensure that it truly reflects the person you wish to commemorate and their unique life.
You will be able to choose elements to include in the ceremony that you feel best represent their personality and beliefs.
This could be some of their favourite music, poetry that reminds you of them or religious elements such as a prayer. I can also work with any family or friends who would like to participate in the ceremony.
While part of my role is to offer guidance on ceremony content, the final say regarding this will always be yours. You will be able to check all content ahead of the funeral.
On the day of your loved one's funeral, I will lead the ceremony and help you say goodbye to them. I will also offer you a full written version of the ceremony to keep afterwards.
